Email your Democratic senators and demand real filibuster reform

Mr Smith filibustering As climax of the filibuster reform fight approaches, we must continue to push for real reform that includes a talking filibuster and/or changing the burden of the filibuster to 41 votes to continue a filibuster, instead of the current 60 votes required to overcome one.

Real, meaningful reform is necessary for a functioning Senate. Please send an email to your Democratic senator or senators urging them to pass real filibuster reform. (Email can be edited and personalized.)

If you do not have a Democratic member of the Senate, please call Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid's office at 202-224-3542, and tell him to include the talking filibuster, and/or flipping the burden of the filibuster, in any package of Senate rules reforms.
