Dear Mayor Angel Taveras,
In solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street movement, Occupy Providence started a peaceful and respectful occupation of Burnside Park on October 15, 2011. Your public safety commissioner began issuing 72-hour eviction notices to them on October 27.
Netroots Nation stands with the 99% and the Occupy Wall Street movement and calls on you to respect the first amendment rights of Occupy Providence and allow them to remain in the park.
