To all Democratic Senate candidates and returning Democratic Senators:

We need you to agree that the Senate can, and should, change its rules with a simple majority vote on the first day it is in session in 2011.

We will deliver this petition to every returning Democratic Senator, and also every Democratic candidate for Senate.

When we do, we will get each of them on record about whether the rules of the Senate can, and should, be changed with a simple majority vote on the first day of Congress next year.

Once 51 returning and potential Senators have come out in support, we will have proven changing Senate rules is possible with a simple majority vote.
