Update: NFL and referee's union reach tentative agreement
Early Thursday morning, the NFL and the referee's union announced that they reached a tentative deal. While the deal must still be ratified by the union membership on Friday and Saturday, the referees are returning to work tonight.

NFL management and owners, who brought in more than $8.3 billion in revenue last year, continue to lockout experienced, union referees in an attempt to make a few more bucks at the expense of the middle class. The result has been terrible calls, a decline in player safety, and a loss of credibility for the sport.
