Tell the Pennsylvania Department of State: Stop running misleading voter ID ads
Recently, a judge ruled that Pennsylvania voters will not have to show photo ID to vote in the November election. However, the Pennsylvania Department of State has barely edited the television ad they were running before the court ruling. All they did was add a quick disclaimer at the end that says "you will be asked, but not required, to show ID" after spending twenty seconds strongly implying that photo ID is still required.
Please join with Daily Kos and UniteWomen.org by telling the Pennsylvania Department of State to stop running this ad and replace it with one that more clearly reflects the fact that voters will not need an ID to vote this November.
Please take down the altered version of the voter ID ad and replace it with an ad that prominently tells the public that no photo ID is necessary to vote in November.
