Tell your senators to end subsidies for Big Oil

Over the last 10 years, the Big 5 oil companies have made $1 trillion in profits, while retaining tens of billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies. Last year, these five companies—BP, ExxonMobil, Shell, Chevron and ConocoPhillips—reported $137 billion in profits.

These profits are obscene, but that we continue to subsidize them is even worse.

On Thursday, March 29, the U.S. Senate will vote on whether to end federal subsidies to oil and gas companies. Send an email to your senators, telling them to vote yes.
