Tell Sens. Carper, Reed and Baucus to pass real filibuster reform now

Because of Republican obstruction, the U.S. Senate is at an impasse. And with it come real consequences. For example, the National Labor Relations Board will essentially cease to function—if President Obama’s appointments are not confirmed.

Senate Democrats are moving forward with various presidential nominees—but filibuster reform is still a fight. There is a real danger they will be tempted by another “deal” we know that Republicans will not live up to.

Delaware Sen. Tom Carper, Montana Sen. Max Baucus, and Rhode Island Sen. Jack Reed are on the fence, and need to hear from their constituents now.

Residents of Delaware, Montana and Rhode Island, please send an email to your respective senator, urging him to support meaningful filibuster reform so that we can have a functioning Senate that confirms all nominations in a timely manner.
