Sign and send the petition to your governor: Put health care ahead of politics
The Affordable Care Act allows millions of more Americans to qualify for Medicaid, but the Supreme Court said that states can refuse the expansion.
Twenty-five states have opted out—even though the federal government would pay for it—simply because Republicans hate Obamacare.
In other words, governors and state legislatures are denying health care coverage to millions of their constituents. A recent Harvard study shows that this will mean eight million uninsured Americans, and up to 17,000 premature and avoidable deaths.
If you live in one of these 25 states, please sign and send a petition to your governor: urging them to accept the Medicaid expansion.
